On Friday, Feb. 28, former Holy Name Central Catholic High School standout Anthony Pingeton’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UAB Blazers.

The game took place at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field against UAB Blazers.
