On Friday, March 7, former Hopedale High School standout Alex Luccini’s current college team, the UMass Lowell Riverhawks, lost 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Richmond Spiders.

The game took place at Malcolm U. Pitt Field. This was their first matchup against the Spiders this season.

The Riverhawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Malcolm U. Pitt Field against Richmond Spiders.
