The Holy Cross baseball team announced on Apr. 16 that its upcoming weekend series against Navy has been adjusted because of expected weather conditions.
The changes will affect the timing and scheduling of games, which are important for fans planning to attend and for both teams as they compete in the Patriot League. Adjustments like these are often made to ensure player safety and accommodate unpredictable weather.
According to the announcement, both teams will now play a doubleheader consisting of a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning game on Friday, April 17, starting at 3:05 p.m. The originally scheduled doubleheader for Saturday, April 18 has been pushed back an hour to begin at 2:05 p.m. There will be no game played on Sunday, April 19.
A parking advisory was also issued for Saturday due to several athletic events taking place on campus and an anticipated high volume of visitors. The access road behind the Luth Athletic Complex will be closed because of a track and field meet. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and consider parking options at the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex, McCarthy Lane, Kimball Road or in the parking garage.
