The Holy Cross men’s golf team finished in fifth place at the Patriot League Championship, according to an April 26 announcement. The event took place at the West Point Golf Course.
The team’s performance marks the end of their 2025-2026 season. Freshmen Leo Chu and Rohan Shastry both tied for 22nd individually, each finishing with a score of 224, or 14-over par. Junior Ryan Scollins placed 26th with a total of 226 strokes, while freshman John Scully finished in 28th position after shooting a combined score of 228. Senior Brian Glennon rounded out the Crusaders’ scoring lineup in 38th place with a total of 232 strokes. Junior Alex Elia participated only on day one due to injury but managed to shoot a round of 71.
Navy secured the team championship by posting a three-round total of 864 (24-over par). Holy Cross completed the tournament with an overall score of 884. In individual competition, Chip Deegan from Navy claimed first place after defeating Lafayette’s Travis Robertson on the third playoff hole; both players had finished regulation play at two-over par (212).
With this tournament, Holy Cross concludes its season and looks ahead to future competitions. The team encouraged supporters to follow their updates on social media platforms including X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
The results reflect continued participation and competitiveness within conference play as teams now prepare for offseason training.
