The Holy Cross men’s track and field team took part in the first day of the 2026 NEICAAA Championships on Friday, March 6, in Boston.

Sophomore Brendan Rogers secured a spot in the 400-meter final after recording a time of 49.63 seconds during the preliminary round. In the 200-meter preliminaries, sophomore Josh Gentchos finished fourth with a time of 22.09 seconds. Senior Ben Stone placed ninth in the 5,000 meters, completing the race in 15:12.17. Freshman Nic Oglesby achieved a mark of 6.48 meters to finish twelfth in the long jump.

The team will return for the final day of competition at the NEICAAA Indoor Championships, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
