On Wednesday, Feb. 19, former Holy Name Central Catholic High School standout Anthony Pingeton’s current college team, the North Alabama Lions, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at Billiken Sports Center against Saint Louis Billikens.
