Hopedale High School standout Alex Luccini’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Wednesday, March 19

On Wednesday, March 19, former Hopedale High School standout Alex Luccini’s current college team, the UMass Lowell Riverhawks, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Holy Cross Crusaders.

The game took place at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. This was their first matchup against the Crusaders this season.

The Riverhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Edward A. LeLacheur Park against Le Moyne Dolphins.
