On Sunday, March 2, former Saint Paul Diocesan Junior/Senior High School standouts Kya Birtz and Raigan Gregoire’s current college team, the Assumption Greyhounds, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tampa Spartans.
The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Greyhounds’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 5 p.m. at Rollins Softball Stadium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park against Rollins Tars.
