On Saturday, March 15, former Hopedale High School standout Jacob Smith’s current college team, the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.

The game took place at Sliwa Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 4:15 p.m. at Sliwa Stadium against Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.
