On Saturday, March 8, former Hopedale High School standout Jacob Smith’s current college team, the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights, lost 9-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Kutztown Golden Bears.

The game took place at North Campus Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. at North Campus Field against Kutztown Golden Bears.
