Graduates earn 201 degrees, certificates from the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester

About 64.7 percent of the 201 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Worcester conferred 125 doctor's degrees and 3 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in medicine. Data shows the school gave out 112 doctor's degrees in medicine, followed by 66 doctor's degrees in general biomedical sciences and 11 doctor's degrees in nursing practice.

The university enrolled 1,185 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 1185 programs.
