Cost of college went up for all students at Becker College

Tuition and fees rose 2.5 percent for 2018-19 at Becker College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Massachusetts students paid $39,200 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $950 more than the $38,250 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 378 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.6 million and 302 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,839), 1,711 students used grants or scholarships totaling $31.6 million, and 1,396 students took out $9.7 million in federal student loans.
