The Assumption University football team revealed its 2022 schedule Friday afternoon. The Greyhounds open the season at home, as they host Kutztown (Sept. 3) at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.
2022 Assumption Football Schedule
The Greyhounds will look to return to the NCAA Division II National Tournament for the first time since 2017. Head Coach Andy McKenzie enters his fifth season at the helm of the football team, as they look to improve off a 5-5 2021.
Following their home opener, the Hounds will hit the road for a three-game road trip, as they take on Merrimack (Sept. 9), before opening Northeast-10 Conference action at Pace (Sept. 24), and Southern Connecticut State (Oct. 1).
Assumption returns to Worcester for back-to-back games. The Hounds will host Franklin Pierce (Oct. 9) at Polar Park, before hosting Bentley (Oct. 15) on Homecoming weekend. The Blue and White then will hit the road, as they take on American International (Oct. 22), before wrapping up their home slate against New Haven (Oct. 29).
The Greyhounds will close out the regular season on the road, as they take on Saint Anselm (Nov. 5) and Post (Nov. 12).
