HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption was the first team to strike, as Chloe Kaeller used a hard pass into the circle, which was fired in by Mia Salah at the edge of the circle, to put the Greyhounds up 1-0 at the 18:40 marker. Kaeller extended the AU advantage in the early moments of the second half as she tipped in a Lucy Malia pass from a low angle.
New Haven got on the board late in the third quarter, as Johannah Lee fired a shot from the top of the circle through the Assumption defense to draw within one. The Chargers would make a late push in the final minute, but the Greyhounds' defense held firm to record their third straight win.
