The Nichols field hockey program fell to Springfield College, 3-0, Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Stagg Field.
The Pride (3-6) broke through with five minutes remaining in the second quarter, netting two goals in the span of 2:33. Their third goal came just under two minutes into the fourth quarter.
Sophomore goalkeeper Sophia Venable recorded 17 saves for the Bison (5-6), a season high.
Nichols returns home to face Wellesley College in non-conference action at Vendetti Field on Wednesday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m.
