The Assumption University women's soccer team dropped a midweek Northeast-10 content to Saint Anselm College, 1-0, at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the early portion of the contest, Assumption generated some offense, as they fired two shots in the opening three minutes that went on target. The two teams continued to trade chances, but neither side would get on the board.
Saint Anselm College would break through early in the second half, as Olivia Gotobed used a cutback move ten yards out and fired a left-footed shot into the far top corner, making it 1-0. Despite multiple chances, the Greyhounds could not find the equalizer and fell to the Hawks.
