The second NCAA Regional field hockey rankings have been released, and No. 6 nationally ranked Assumption University is one of five Northeast-10 teams under consideration in the East Region.
RANKINGS
In addition to Assumption (13-4 overall, 10-2 NE10), the other NE10 schools include Saint Anselm (11-5, 10-2), Bentley (10-7, 8-4), Adelphi (10-7, 9-3), and Pace (9-7, 6-5).
Assumption will wrap up their regular season on the road as they take on Saint Thomas Aquinas on Friday, Nov. 11, at 2:30 pm.
The Division II Field Hockey Championship provides for a maximum field of six teams. Two first-round games will be conducted on the campus of one of the competing institutions. The top seed in each region will receive a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
The NCAA DII Field Hockey selection show will air on NCAA.com on Monday, November 21, at 3 p.m. (EST).
