Assumption University sits fourth in the 2022-23 Northeast-10 Conference Presidents' Cup standings after capturing regular season championships in both football and men's golf.
Four NE10 institutions are within eight points of each other at the top of the Presidents' Cup standings, with Franklin Pierce holding a 3.5-point edge over second-place Adelphi (76.0) and a 5.5-point lead over third-place Southern New Hampshire (74.0). Assumption sit in fourth at 72.0 points.
The NE10 Presidents' Cup is presented annually at the conclusion of the academic year, signifying overall athletic excellence in the league. The honor is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points based on finishes in the regular season standings from all of its programs competing in league championships.
Assumption, who sits in fourth, won the NE10 football title for the first time since 2017, in addition to winning their second-straight NE10 golf title and earning a share of the regular season championship in field hockey.
