HOLY CROSS RETURNS HOME TO FACE COLBY-SAWYER
The Holy Cross men's basketball team returns home on Sunday, Nov. 27, when it plays host to Colby-Sawyer at 1:00 p.m. Tickets to the game between the Crusaders and the Chargers are available for just $10.00, with all kids under the age of 12 being admitted for free. The contest will be shown live by the Patriot League on ESPN+.
Holy Cross will be opening up a four-game homestand against Colby-Sawyer, and has a 1-1 mark at the Hart Center so far this season. The Crusaders have an overall record of 1-5 on the year, and are coming off an 89-66 setback against Illinois-Chicago on Tuesday. Senior forward Gerrale Gates has led the team by averaging 18.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game and connecting on 50.6 percent of his field goal attempts. Junior guard Bo Montgomery has added 13.2 points, 3.5 boards and 2.5 assists per contest, while freshman guard Will Batchelder is putting up 10.2 points and 2.8 assists per game.
Colby-Sawyer stands 1-3 overall this season. The Chargers snapped a three-game losing streak on Tuesday night with an 80-79 victory at UMass Boston. Senior forward Omar Boone leads the team by averaging 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, while knocking down 77.8 percent of his foul shots. Senior guard Scott Lampron has added 11.0 points and 2.8 boards per game, while senior forward Conor Kelly is chipping in with 10.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest.
Following the contest with Colby-Sawyer, Holy Cross will remain at home to face Harvard on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7:00 p.m.
