WOMEN'S SWIMMING UPENDED BY BOSTON UNIVERSITY

 The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team fell to the Boston University Terriers 190-74 on Saturday.

Freshman Ainsley Nalen took first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.42. Nalen placed second in the 200-yard freestyle touching the wall at 1:55.98. 

Junior Greta Walting came in second during the 50-yard freestyle event (30.61), just a tenth of a second behind first place. 
 
Junior Ayden Chanin took second in the 100-yard freestyle (54.87). She was followed by freshman Nora Smillie (57.72) and senior Cayce Patriarca (1:00.05) who captured third and fourth. 

Holy Cross returns to action in 2023 when they face Colgate on Friday, Jan. 20 for a Patriot League contest at 11 a.m.
