The Nichols women's tennis team returned to action in its spring season in a matchup against Division I opponent Mount St. Mary's on Thursday afternoon, which resulted in a 7-0 loss for the Bison. Nichols dropped to 9-7 overall, while the Mountaineers improved to 2-4 on the young season.
The home team earned the doubles point with a straight sweep of the Bison before going on to handle Nichols in all six singles matchups. Camila Magrin came close to stealing a game with a 6-2, 7-5 defeat at No. 6.
Nichols continues its spring slate with a Monday, April 3 home match against Division II American International at 3:30 p.m. from the Robinson Tennis Courts
