WORCESTER, Mass. – City Hall and other municipal buildings will be closed to the public Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

During the week of July 3, the City will not follow its regular schedule for trash and recycling pickup. The holiday will result in a delay by one day.

A full list of holidays that will result in a one-day delay for pickup, as well as a map and schedule of regular collection days, can be found at worcesterma.gov/trash-recycling/schedule.

Residents are advised to set recyclables and trash at the curb between 6 – 7:30 a.m. on their scheduled collection day. Full details about trash and recycling in Worcester, including a full list of what can and cannot be recycled, are available at worcesterma.gov/trash-recycling.

For additional questions, or to report service requests or problems, residents may contact Worcester 311 by dialing 3-1-1, emailing 311@worcesterma.gov, or visiting worcesterma.gov/311.
