On Sunday, March 30, former Hopedale High School standout Jacob Smith’s current college team, the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Saint Anselm Hawks.

The game took place at Sullivan Park. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 12 p.m. at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field against Franklin Pierce Ravens.
