Of the 10,008 students who took part in the MCAS, 77% did not meet the testing standard in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

These students did not meet the required standards of the Math portion of the MCAS, compared to the 23% who did.

The number of Worcester Public Schools District students who failed their Math assessments fell by 5.9% from the previous school year.
