Three graduating members of the Holy Cross football team were named to the 2026 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, according to an announcement made this week. The honorees are linebacker Sam Boyer, long snapper John Owens, and running back Nyeoti Punni.
The Hampshire Honor Society recognizes graduating seniors from schools across the country who have been starters or key reserves on their teams and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20.
In total, 2,596 players from 365 schools qualified for membership in 2026. This figure marks a record for the number of members during the program’s 20-year history.
The recognition highlights both athletic and academic achievements among college football players. The inclusion of three Holy Cross athletes reflects their commitment on and off the field.
The school encourages fans to follow Crusader Athletics on social media platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for updates about Holy Cross football.
