There were 24,318 students enrolled in Worcester Public Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% more than the year before, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.4% identified as male and 48.5% identified themselves as female.

Worcester Public Schools registered the second-largest enrollment in the state.
