The ratio of students to teachers in Westborough Public Schools District fell by 3.5% in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

There were 3,856 students being taught by 349.3 teachers in Westborough Public Schools District, which covers schools within Worcester County and has a main office in Westborough. That's an average of 11 students per teacher in the district during the 2021-22 school year.

In the previous year, Westborough Public Schools District had 3,825 students and 336.1 teachers on staff.

Massachusetts has roughly one teacher for every 13 students, which is better than the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.

Despite the shortage, under-representation of ethnicities among teachers was found to be a concern. The Rennie Center reported that only nine percent of teachers are people of color.
